Near the centre of Praia a Mare, the Borgo di Fiuzzi looks like a charming old village, and yet has all the facilities and services to offer a complete stay in absolute comfort. Particularly well-suited to families, with many services for children, the Resort has access to the beach, an outdoor pool, 2 restaurants, a Wellness Centre and Spa, an amphitheatre that hosts games and shows, and plenty of spaces for relaxing and socialising. And opposite the resort lies the Island of Dino, with its famous grottos and waters rich with marine life.
The Borgo di Fizzi Resort contains a Spa that offers two wellness circuits, one consisting of sensation showers, a Turkish bath and a Finnish sauna with an ice shower, and the other with a hydro-massage area and pool with against-the-current swimming. There is also a space for beauty treatments, massages and massotherapy.
Borgo di Fiuzzi has 345 bedrooms with Classic, Family, and Classic Bunkbed room types, all with a balcony and patio furniture. The Classic Rooms have a double bed or two single beds, while Family rooms have two separate sleeping areas and one bathroom and have room for up to 5 guests. The Classic Bunkbed rooms have one double plus one bunkbed. All rooms have air conditioning, a telephone, satellite TV with Sky channels, a minibar, a safe, and Wi-Fi internet connection.
There are two restaurants at the resort, plus an area for children with the assistance of kitchen staff. The main restaurant, "Il Golfo" serves a buffet of Mediterranean cuisine, which can be enjoyed in the air conditioned dining room or on one of the three panoramic terraces. The second restaurant, "Il Borgo", is located on the top floor of the main building and has a dining room and a panoramic terrace.

Starting from Praia a Mare descending towards Scalea, guests will find some of the most beautiful beaches in Calabria and several sanctuaries along the way. In Scalea, a coastal village known for its beaches and for its medieval ruins, its churches and narrow labyrinthine streets in the historic centre. To the north of Praia a Mare is Maratea, where at the summit of Monte San Biagio stand the remains of an ancient town, and the imposing statue of Christ the Redeemer. Also nearby is the town of Diamante, where the walls of the historic centre are entirely decorated with more than 200 murals.
