Some of the hotel’s services and facilities:
Terme Luigiane is also known as ‘Guardia Piemontese and Acquappesa’ after these two towns which are 5km and 8km away respectively, and they both deserve a visit, especially during the summer, since they offer various points of cultural interest. This area is great for nature lovers too as they can enjoy long walks in places such as the Mortella Gardens, Parco delle Sorgenti, where thermal water rises to the earth’s surface, and the gorges of the Bagni river. Further away, yet still beautiful in terms of the panorama and certainly worth visiting, are the Islands of Dino and Maratea (80km for Terme Luigiane), the woodland area of Fagnano, which boasts two lakes (18km away), and the highlands of Sila, the largest in Southern Italy which boasts peaks that reach almost 2000m above sea level. Sea lovers are also catered for here with the nearby Scoglio della Regina, which is rich in natural caves, as are the beaches of Intavolata (towards the north) and Guardia Piemontese (towards the south). There are numerous points of artistic interest in nearby towns too, including San Marco Argentano (25km away) which is a town with Norman origins where a tower and the remains of the Cistercense de La Matina abbey can be seen. Lastly, Paola, which boasts the San Francesco Sanctuary, is just 16km from the hotel.
